Deputy City Manager Tyler Goodman notified his leadership team last week that he will begin as Yavapai County Deputy County Manager effective July 26, 2024.
Following Goodman's announcement, the city posted a job opening for deputy mayor.
“Tyler has been a tremendous leader in our organization,” Mayor Darin Kimble said.
“We are sad to see Tyler leave the city, but are pleased that he will have the opportunity to continue serving our community and all of Yavapai County.”
Goodman has served the City of Prescott in various roles, including interim mayor and deputy mayor, since 2016. The deputy mayor position is currently listed on the city's website and is open until July 31, 2024.
