Oh, this has to happen!
SMU Mustangs head coach Rhett Lashlee has already provided plenty of entertainment for the ACC in his first year in the conference. In fact, the 2024 ACC Media Days were so good that Lashlee issued a challenge to Florida State Seminoles head coach Mike Norvell.
And that challenge is the game “EA Sports College Football 25.” (RELATED: Netflix documentary on Michigan scandal released, hear Connor Stallions' side of the story)
“I challenged Mike Norvell to a college football game. [25]Lashley said: On 3“I don't know if he'll do it, but it would make for great TV, wouldn't it? And that might decide who wins.” [coin] We're going to have a toss or something on September 28th. Mike, you'll be there.”
If the two coaches faced off against each other and used their respective teams, Lashley would be at a slight disadvantage. Looking at the match ratings, SMU is rated 84 overall while Florida State is rated 88. And the Mustangs defense is rated 78, so Lashley is at a slight disadvantage.
Coming off Day 1 in Charlotte, new SMU ACC head coach Rhett Lashlee issued a challenge to defending ACC champion head coach Mike Norvell that future matchups should not be a coin toss but rather the two head coaches should meet at EA CFB 25 to decide the kickoff.

Please, Mike Norvell, accept this challenge so the ACC can get things back on track and discuss ways to get your conference excited again.
