Diddy’s Name Allegedly Came Up In Court In Relation To Murder Of Tupac Shakur, But It’s Not What You Think

Keef D, who is accused of murdering Tupac Shakur, has claimed Diddy was behind the legendary rapper's assassination and has asked to be released from prison pending the conclusion of his trial.

Keef D claims that Diddy offered to pay him a large sum of money to take Shakur's life but never paid the money. He believes that would be enough to shine a spotlight on Diddy's heinous crimes, thereby taking the pressure off him, Keef says. TMZLaw enforcement sources said Diddy was not a suspect in Shakur's murder.

A recording of Keef D's conversation with investigators in 2009 corroborates his story, in which he is heard saying Diddy ordered Suge Knight's murder and offered a $1 million reward for the death. Based on that information, he wants to remain free until his trial. However, according to TMZ, prosecutors said he should remain in prison because he is the kind of person who would take someone's life for money.

According to TMZ, Keef D told Las Vegas detectives that Diddy had personally contacted him and his associates, saying he would be willing to pay them some cash if Tupac was killed by someone on the street.

He claimed that after Tupac was murdered, he contacted mutual friends to try to raise the money, but it was never paid.

According to TMZ, Diddy has repeatedly denied any involvement in Shakur's murder and there is currently no investigation into him in the case. (RELATED: 'Your Life is in Danger': Suge Knight Warns Diddy of Imminent Jail Time)
