‘Weekend In Taipei’ Reunites ‘Fast & Furious’ Icons In Epic Trailer

The trailer for “Weekend in Taipei” was released online on Wednesday, and it features the return of two “Fast and Furious” stars.

Action-packed trailer “Weekend in Taipei” is a mesmerizing sound and visual production starring Welsh actor Luke Evans, Gui Lun-Mei and Sung Kang, a Fast & Furious favourite who co-starred with the duo in “Fast & Furious 7”.

“John Lawler is a pit bull DEA agent who is dedicated to his work. There is no bad guy he can't stop and he will sacrifice nothing to solve the case. Joey Kang is Taipei's top 'Transporter', a fast driver and a smartass. Hard to catch, impossible to catch,” the description reads.

“They were never meant to fall in love, but fate brought them together…. The forces of crime and corruption tore them apart. Then 15 years later, fate brings Joey and John together during a weekend in Taipei, and they discover the only thing harder than falling in love is falling in love again,” the story continues.
