REPORT: Father Of Singer Kehlani’s Child Files For Full Custody, Claims She’s Part Of Cult

The father of famous singer Kehlani's child has filed a lawsuit seeking full custody of his daughter, claiming she is part of a cult, TMZ reported Monday.

Ja'Vaughn Young-White filed a lawsuit seeking full custody of his 5-year-old daughter, Adeya, alleging that Kehlani was part of a cult and was influencing her parenting. according to According to TMZ, Young White claims he has been a part of the cult for several years.

The outlet further alleged that the cult leader, who TMZ did not name, is accused of numerous sexual assaults, and Young White said he fears his daughter is at risk of being abused.

According to TMZ, the father also claims that an unnamed cult leader has a lot of influence over Kehlani and may have convinced her to keep her daughter away from him. Kehlani released her song “A small storyAdeya will be touring with her mother in 2022, and Kehlani spoke about how important it is to “do what's best” for her daughter while on tour, People reported.

“I don't want my daughter to feel like she's controlling my life,” Kehlani said in an interview with Apple Music, according to People magazine. “On tour, I'm making an extra effort to make all the venues baby-friendly. We'll have like a little nursery backstage, we'll have alcohol-free areas, and everything to accommodate her needs.”
