Sick of Kamala memes? You're in luck: the leftist meme machine is switching gears.
As soon as Joe Biden dropped out of the race, left-leaning meme makers on Twitter did everything they could to make Kamala Harris look like a cool millennial. “Sassy” summer! Coconut! All neon green, all the time.
Now, with the selection of Minnesota Governor Tim Walz as his vice president, those same shadowy forces are trying to mold him into exactly what Democrats want him to be: a walking dad joke.
One Joke Lover Walz was “fiddled with a lawnmower carburetor” outside the White House because “he didn't like that nasty knocking noise.”
What about his career as a high school football coach? No one is more spunky than this. Don't worry, he tones down all that toxic masculinity and even heads the school's gay-straight alliance. Strong and kind? Any liberal cat-loving woman will be smitten.
My favorite fact about Tim Waltz is that in the same year he worked as a high school teacher, he coached his football team to a state title and also served as the faculty advisor for his school's first Gay-Straight Alliance (GSA) club.

If that doesn't work, you'll fall in love when you see him riding the Slingshot with his daughter at the Minnesota State Fair. He's scared at first, but being the good dad he is, his daughter convinces him to go for it – and there's the pre-planned GoPro footage to prove it.

And then there's the classic pop-cultural incarnation: In the window, in the waltz! See how relatable he is to young people of 20 years ago? Typical dad moves.

They want to portray Waltz as a wholesome, moderate, non-threatening American dad — just the quintessential neighborhood guy. But let's not forget that when Waltz talks about “love your neighbor,” what he really means is “socialism.”
