Famed actress Holland Taylor is 81 years old, but she has admitted that the age gap between her and her 49-year-old boyfriend sometimes worries her.
Taylor, who is known for his role in “Two and a Half Men,” has been rumored to be romantically linked to Sarah Paulson since 2015, and they remain on good terms. Though the pair's relationship is going strong, Taylor appeared on SiriusXM's Andy Cohen Live on August 8 and said she worries that their age difference could one day become an issue.
“We have a great resonance. We're interested in similar things, and yet we share big differences,” Taylor said.
“There's a big generational difference between us and that worries me, but, you know, what can I do?” she said with a shrug.
Taylor shared some ways in which the age gap gradually grows in her daily life.
“A lot of the things that she's going through now that are very emotional and important, I went through 40 years ago, 30 years ago,” Taylor said.

“And she reminds me of them in my memories, and I'm like, 'Oh, of course this is hard. Of course that's hard,' or 'Of course that's great. Of course that's important to her,'” she continued, suggesting that sometimes you have to take a step back and acknowledge that their lives develop at different paces.

The famous actress offered a positive outlook, saying she had a “joy” watching Paulson's career develop, especially when she won her first Tony Award for Appropriate.
Paulson also won an Emmy and a Golden Globe for her work on American Crime Story: The People v. O. J. Simpson.

“I think she won every award there is to win and her joy was so moving to see,” Taylor said. (Related article: Dick Van Dyke and wife open up about 46-year age gap)
Taylor admitted that while she is happy in her relationship with Paulson, they have no plans to exchange wedding vows.
“I don't think so. We've never had an interested conversation about marriage. Marriage just doesn't seem to mean the same to us as it does to a lot of people,” she said when asked about marriage.
