Alabama has made it clear that it aspires to be a national golf powerhouse state.

Just a few months after the Tigers' win, the University of Alabama is gearing up to open its massive $50 million collegiate golf facility in time for the 2024-25 season, and even better, it was designed by a PGA star. Justin Thomas and Trey MullinaxThey are both graduates of the University of Alabama. PGA Tour instructor Darren May also participated in the process. The $47,750,000 facility is located north of campus and covers a total area of 176 acres. The facility includes five buildings: the Golf House, Cart Barn, Pump House, Comfort Station, and Golf Maintenance Facility. Additionally, the facility features a nine-hole golf course, driving range, multiple hitting stations, and a short game complex.
