RSLC's “soft on crime” ads criticize Democrats for pushing policies like cutting police budgets and abolishing bail, while highlighting legislative actions taken by Republicans to promote public safety.

“Not only are American families struggling with rising prices at the grocery store and gas station, but they are also increasingly worried about the safety of their communities,” RSLC President Dee Duncan said in a press release obtained by DCNF. “While Joe Biden is not running, Kamala Harris and Tim Walz must be held accountable for the Biden-Harris policies that have been soft on crime and created this chaos, especially thanks to their open border policies. State Republicans will continue to fight for additional funding for police and crime-preventing border security, and we will reverse course and make our cities and communities safe again.” (Related article: Republicans outpace Democrats in fundraising as control of key congressional chambers hangs in the balance)
