The Caitlin Clark saga continues!
Indiana Fever superstar Kaitlyn Clark continued to make history in her WNBA rookie season, breaking yet another record for a rookie milestone, as Clark and the Fever took on the Seattle Storm on Sunday.
Just her 28th Clark broke the rookie record for assists in a single season in WNBA competition, becoming the all-time leader. (Related article: Record-breaker Angel Reese slams reporter after Sky gets rocked by Mercury)
During Sunday's game against the Storm, Clark recorded his 226th career assist, a record previously held by Ticha Penicellio in 1998, more than 25 years ago.
Penicheiro recorded 225 assists in 30 total games, while Clark did the same in 28 games. Additionally, the former Iowa Hawkeye has 12 more games scheduled to extend his record.

Frankly, Kaitlyn Clark will go down in history as the greatest player in WNBA history. I don't know if that's off the mark at this point, but I think she should be given credit for being off the mark because she said it pretty early on (only more firmly this time).
Just a sports blogger looking for clout. (LOL)
