Excited For The New NFL Season? Here’s A Piece Of News That Will Infuriate You And Completely Kill Your Buzz

That greed is unrealistic.

Football fans were outraged when they discovered that purchasing NFL Sunday Ticket from the Apple Store would cost a whopping $679.99, or $739.99 if purchased as a bundle with NFL RedZone.

The exorbitant price was revealed on NBC Sports' ProFootballTalk, and understandably sparked angry reactions among NFL fans. And to the surprise of no one, the $679.99 (or $739.99) price tag to watch on your Apple TV, iPad, iPhone or other Apple device is the most expensive of all streaming services. And rightfully so.

It was rumored 2023 Apple was in talks with the NFL to include access to Sunday Ticket in its Apple TV+ subscription, which would have cost just $6.99, which is what Apple planned to pay for it. But the NFL, being a greedy brand, turned down the offer.RELATED: 'Sign the contract': Dolphins' Tyreek Hill challenges U.S. Olympic gold medalist Noah Lyles to official 50-yard challenge

Ah, but it gets worse.

Reportedly Court NewsESPN offered the NFL a cut in fees to $70 a month, but that wasn't enough for the league.

Kudos to Apple and ESPN for at least trying to lower ticket prices on Sunday, while the NFL should be totally ashamed.

My wife and I are saving up to buy a house…I definitely can’t justify spending that much money on a TV package (anyone interested in sponsoring our Sunday Ticket?).
