‘Quit Shilling So Hard’: Daily Caller’s Mary Rooke Weighs In On Narrative That Harris Now Has Black Vote

Daily Caller columnist Mary Luke on Tuesday weighed in on the notion that Vice President Kamala Harris has handily secured the black vote ahead of Election Day.

During the period exterior On Carl Higbee's “Frontline,” Luke discussed Don Lemon's interview. Lemon deviated from his usual support for Harris, noting that many voters are unfamiliar with her. His comments suggest a disconnect between the vice president and certain constituencies. Luke pointed to the reaction of former White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki, who appeared shocked by Lemon's candor.

“You can see it all in Jen Psaki's face. She's shocked that Don Lemon came and said that, but she probably wouldn't be so shocked if she was listening to the Breakfast Club with Charlemagne the God radio show, where all of her listeners are calling in and telling her to stop being such a staunch supporter of Kamala Harris,” she told Higbee.

“Stop trying so desperately to pour water on her because the reality is the black vote went to Trump. They say life was much better under Trump than it was under Biden-Harris.”

She criticized Harris for not proposing concrete economic improvements or safer communities, but Luke believes these are key things the current administration has failed to deliver.

“They see it in the economy, they see it in their communities. All Harris can give them is more frustration and more victimization. What they really need is a better economy. They need safe communities,” Luke argued. “They need all these things that the left can't give them. If they could just step outside their echo chambers for five seconds they would see this.” (Related: Kamala Harris considers raising corporate tax rates as president)
