Bud Light, America's beer embarrassing little brother, aired a commercial featuring Shane Gillis on Tuesday… and it's making us very emotional.
First, some background: Bud Light was dethroned as the number one beer in America because they thought their customers wanted Dylan Mulvaney (who is biologically male but dresses as a cheesy female knockoff in a highly offensive fashion) as their brand ambassador. Naturally, it was “emphatically rejected” by literally everyone except for a few cranky Democrats, and Bud Light became the first beer brand to be officially dropped.
But that funny guy, Shane Gillis, may have saved Bud Light from becoming an embarrassment to Americans. Clearly someone at Anheuser-Busch had a genuine sense of humor, and they hired Gillis and his “Tire” co-stars, along with a few others, to finally bring Bud Light back to the masses.
With a string of conservative tropes and Gillis' famously brutal physical antics, this commercial is actually… pretty good. So good, in fact, that it probably saved Bud. (RELATED: Newsmax host uses 12-gauge shotgun to let Bud Light know how he really feels)
Hiring Gillis not only shows America that Bud Light isn't woke. You can't pretend to be progressive by hiring a guy who frequently says things like, “You fat, gay idiot” as your brand ambassador. The commercial's script also sets up Bud Light to play a pretty fun drinking game: “Bud Light Confessions.”
In the space of two minutes, Bud Light went from being the most hated brand in America to its most embarrassing little brother, finally emerging from the extremely embarrassing goth or trans phase of adolescence (which most kids who think they're trans but aren't are, because you can't become trans without violently mutilating your genitals, which is a mental illness).
Shane Gillis is objectively funny on SNL, so clearly the corporate media is having a tantrum. https://t.co/UjadbZ5WBn

I am in no way defending Bud Light. The company, its owners, Bud and Anheuser-Busch, owe a huge apology to the American people, especially women, and until they do, we need to continue to bully Bud Light and Bud Light drinkers like crazy. They need to be bullied, just like any family member would be if they did something embarrassing, but at least now they know it's temporary and they can start a new chapter without being completely alienated from American culture.
