Cause Of Death Of Slash’s Stepdaughter Revealed

The cause of death of Guns N' Roses star Slash's stepdaughter, Lucy Blue Knight, has been revealed, more than a month after the star announced her passing.

The Los Angeles Coroner's Office determined that a 25-year-old man died of hydrogen sulfide poisoning. The cause of death was ruled a suicide. New York Post It was reported on Thursday.

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Hydrogen sulfide is a toxic and flammable gas that has been reported to be potentially fatal to humans with prolonged exposure.

Symptoms of acute exposure include nausea, headache, disorientation, memory loss and convulsions.

According to the New York Post, the coroner's office said, “Mr. Knight was found unconscious in a private residence on July 19th following a police investigation into his welfare. He was pronounced dead at 4 p.m.”

The report further noted, “An examination by the Deputy Medical Examiner was conducted on July 22nd. The cause of death was certified on August 29th.”

Slash announced Knight's death on Instagram on July 21 and paid tribute to her in a heartbreaking post. The famed Guns N' Roses guitarist described his stepdaughter as “a talented artist, a passionate dreamer and a fascinating, loving and kind soul.” He expressed his heartbreak on social media and canceled a string of shows to grieve with her family.

Knight posted a heartbreaking message on social media just hours before his death.

“I am sorry that I made you feel alienated, that I manipulated and controlled you, that I asked you to quit your day job because I felt safe knowing my parents were financially supporting you, and that I masked real issues with toxic positivity,” she wrote.

She ended with, “May my soul learn to evolve from this boring job of Lucy Blue. Peace 🌷.”

Lucy Blue was the daughter of Slash's longtime partner, Megan Hodges.
