Slipknot's Syd Wilson is determined to attend the metal band's live show in Oklahoma on Sunday, despite suffering severe burns to his face and arms in a horrific fire.
Wilson said: TMZ He also stated that he has never missed a show before and that he does not want to miss any in the future, expressing his determination to maintain his perfect attendance record. The Slipknot DJ appeared on TMZ Live on Friday and told the entertainment media outlet that he is still very sore from the incident. Wilson explained that he let safety precautions slip while checking the bonfire.

Wilson explained what happened on the day of the fire to TMZ, saying he was checking out a bonfire the night before.
“Like a fool I checked and there was debris all over it so I had petrol left in the car so I poured petrol on the outside,” he said.
“I was walking around looking for like a long stick to get something to light a fire with and I just ran out of patience and I was like, 'Oh, it's OK, it's not that big anymore,'” he told TMZ.
“So I walked over and I saw this branch sticking out at the end of the tree, I bent down and lit it on fire, and it just exploded!” he said, demonstrating the intensity of the fire.
Wilson told TMZ that she immediately felt a burn on her face and made defensive movements.
“I felt the heat in my face so I just pulled my arms up like this and jumped back,” he said.
“I stood up and just took a second to see how my body felt. I immediately felt very hot. I looked at my arms and saw the skin peeling off right before my eyes.”
Despite the severity of his injuries, Wilson decided to drive himself to the hospital.
“I drove to the urgent care in town, and I could tell as I was driving that it was still peeling,” he told TMZ, adding that he was referred to a larger medical center.
One of the presenters asked him to assure him that there would be no performance on Sunday.
“Oh yeah, of course I'll play,” Wilson replied.
Wilson has shared images and videos of his horrific wounds on social media, and said his longtime girlfriend Kelly Osbourne was nursing him, including peeling off dead skin to help the wounds heal. He told TMZ that despite suffering from painful burns, he plans to put gel on his face and wear the iconic mask for Sunday's show.
