A man living outside Glasgow, Scotland, said he accidentally captured a photo of a UFO while trying to photograph the Northern Lights on Friday.
Gearyd Thayer said he often goes out with his camera to capture photos of the Northern Lights, and was taking photos at St. Ambrose High School's football park around 9:30 p.m. when the lights appeared. According to To Glasgow Live. Among the 100 or so photos taken by Keir, something strange was caught.

“When I took the photo I said to myself I don't remember seeing anything like this and I posted it in a Facebook group to see if anyone knew what it was,” Kjaer told the outlet. “Some people said it was a Starlink satellite but that can't be as it's only white. And when you photograph a plane it never looks like this.” (Related article: Let's be honest: The most spectacular UFO photos of all time are probably fakes)
Most people have noticed that the oddity looks exactly like long-exposure photos of satellite launches, planes and even helicopter flights, but some have disputed the claim, the media outlet reported.
Scotland is famous for UFO sightings in August. A man claims to have seen a UFO flying over an airport on August 12th and snapped a photo of a strange white dot. Personally, I love Scotland for its hiking and comedy scene.
