‘And What Has That Gotten U’: LeSean McCoy Takes Jab At ‘Mid’ Kyler Murray After Bragging About His High School Days

Woah! Gunfire!

It's fair to say NFL legend LeSean McCoy is no fan of the Arizona Cardinals' superstar quarterback. Kyler Murraythat's a good thing.

McCoy, a former All-Pro running back, took to Instagram over Labor Day weekend to voice his opinion of Murray's career, but he took the opportunity after Murray himself bragged about his high school football success.

“To go 43-0 in high school in Texas,” Murray told reporters at a news conference. “Some people say, 'That's impressive because it's high school,' but no one's done that. To go to college and win the Heisman Trophy. To be drafted No. 1 overall in the NFL and drafted No. 9 overall in the MLB. That's something no one's done yet.” (Related: “I stopped listening a long time ago”: Cowboys' Dak Prescott speaks his mind, argues with owner Jerry Jones)

MaxPreps posted a video of the statement on its official Instagram account with the caption, “Is Kyler Murray the GOAT of high school football? His resume is unmatched.”

That's when McCoy joined the chat and criticized the Cardinals' “mid” quarterback.

“Lol. So what do you get for that? In the middle of your NFL career? What are you talking about?” McCoy said.

I don't know why LeSean McCoy felt the need to take a shot at Kyler Murray, but I don't mind another controversy in this crazy “tough guy” culture.

Isn't it interesting?
