Climate change activist Greta Thunberg was arrested by Danish police during a pro-Palestinian protest in Copenhagen, Denmark, The Guardian reported on Wednesday.
Thunberg and five others linked to the Students Against Occupation movement were arrested during a protest by 20 students who blocked the entrance to a University of Copenhagen building and called for an “academic boycott” of Israel by the university. The war sparked protests that flooded college campuses across the United States, some of which turned violent, with some calling for the dissolution of the state of Israel.
