The FBI reportedly arrested Sean “Diddy” Combs in New York on Monday night.
Diddy was taken to the FBI office in Manhattan after being indicted by a grand jury, according to a source familiar with the situation. Rolling StoneNo further official information has been released at this time, but the music mogul's arrest is believed to be connected to an ongoing criminal investigation into alleged sex trafficking and other crimes that have been making headlines recently. The Department of Homeland Security executed search warrants at Diddy's Beverly Hills and Miami homes in March after the allegations emerged.
Combs' arrest comes months after his estranged girlfriend, R&B singer Cassie Ventura, filed a sex trafficking and abuse lawsuit against the star in November.
According to Rolling Stone, Diddy quickly reached a confidential settlement with Ventura just one day after filing his lawsuit. CNN released video footage of Ventura's alleged abuse in May, which quickly went viral.

The Southern District of New York is reportedly overseeing an investigation into the allegations against the music mogul.
