There's no way I'd leave him $20 million. St. Bonaventure… (LOL)
ESPN NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski shocked the world on Wednesday when he announced he was retiring from his media career to become general manager of men's basketball at St. Bonaventure University, his alma mater. Wojnarowski said he wanted to be involved in something he felt was more “meaningful.”
“Time is not infinite, so I want to use my time in more personally meaningful ways,” Woj tweeted.

That's all great and all, but in the process, Woj is reportedly giving up a whopping $20 million in the name of his insider career. Andrew Marchand of The Athletic.
“On Wednesday, Wojnarowski announced that at 55 years old, he has millions in his bank account and is willing to part with another $20 million or so because of the new frontier that college baseball has presented to him,” Marchand wrote.
By stepping down from his role, Wojnarowski will relinquish $20 million from ESPN, according to sources. @Andrew Marchand.

Woj's current contract is Approximately 3 years remainingSo, in my opinion, he should have stayed for the $20 million and taken the GM job at St. Bonaventure. He has a competitive edge because there's no one better at that position. So why wait and not get the check?
This is just my opinion, but at the same time, I would probably be happy to take a job like this at Miami for less money (with the same comfort levels), so I kind of get it, but still… $20 million is a lot of money.
