Kick Off October with a New Career

Verde Valley News – There’s no better way to kick off October than with a promising lead on an exciting new job. Yavapai College’s Regional Economic Development Center and the Town of Cottonwood are offering you the opportunity to meet and review with more than 20 local employers looking for people like you in a variety of positions. Join us at the Verde Valley Job Fair on Tuesday, October 1st from 3:30 to 6 pm at the Cottonwood Recreation Center, 150 S. Sixth Street in Cottonwood.

The Verde Valley Job Fair will bring together a wide range of local employers and career candidates, including Abrio Home Care, Ambiente Sedona, Angels Care Home Health, Angels Care Hospice, City of Cottonwood, Cottonwood Police Department, Cottonwood-Oak Creek School District I, Department of Corrections, Foothills Bank, Hilton Grand Vacations, Jones Ford Verde Valley, Mold In Graphics, NACOG-EWD, NACOG Head Start/Early Head Start, Northern Arizona Healthcare, Rainbow Acres, Steps to Recovery Homes, Verde Valley Humane Society, Yavapai College, Yavapai County Government and YES The Arc.

Attendees will meet with local business representatives to learn the latest career information and apply for part-time, full-time, temporary and seasonal positions. Job seekers are encouraged to dress for success (on-the-spot interviews are available) and bring a current resume, something to take notes and questions for potential employers.

The Verde Valley Job Fair will be held at the Cottonwood Recreation Center, 150 S. Sixth Street, Cottonwood 86326. Admission is free for all jobseekers. Early admission will be offered to veterans age 55 and older and job seekers with disabilities, starting at 3 p.m.
