Halsey posted a low-key selfie video taken from her hospital bed to Instagram on Wednesday.
The pop star appeared in a hospital gown and looking fresh-faced and makeup-free.
“Happy day to be visible as bisexual,” Halsey said in unison with her fiancé, Avan Jogia.
“I had plans for y'all!” Halsey said. Halsey then contacted X to reassure fans she was OK and provide an update on her health. “I had a seizure! So scary! I don't recommend it!” Halsey told her account's 13.9 million followers.
Haley did not reveal what caused the attack or when it occurred, nor did she offer any details about her current health or what treatment she is receiving.
Halsey continued to belatedly celebrate the day she came out as bisexual, writing in the caption of an Instagram post that she would “celebrate by dying with a man by my side (just kidding for legal reasons).” Fans were quick to respond, wishing her a speedy and full recovery.

Halsey informed fans that she has been released from hospital and is recovering.
“I'm home from the hospital after a few days so a win is a win!” the artist wrote to X.

The famous singer has spoken publicly about her struggles with a number of illnesses in recent months. Halsey told fans in June that she was “blessed to be alive,” and has also spoken in social media posts and interviews about being diagnosed with lupus, Sjogren's syndrome, and endometriosis. It is not clear whether Halsey's recent attack was related to any of the illnesses the artist has been diagnosed with or if it was part of a separate medical incident.
