sedona news – The Sedona International Film Festival is proud to present the Northern Arizona premiere of “Music for Mushrooms” at the Mary D. Fisher Theater and Alice Gilsheldon Theater from October 10th to 17th.
With Music for Mushrooms, musician East Forest embarks on a mission to combine music and psychedelics to bring innovative healing to a world in crisis.
East Forest will be traveling to Sedona to host the film and a Q&A discussion after the screening on Thursday and Friday, October 10th and 11th.
“Music for Mushrooms” focuses on the personal journey of East Forrest (Krishna-Trevor Oswalt), a shamanistic musician and filmmaker who collaborated with the late Ram Dass, and explores his bold The experiment combines music and guided psychedelic experiences to create a healing space in a fallen world.
The film explores the practice of guided ritual concerts that provide participants with an immersive environment to confront pain and fear, foster hope, and encourage them to reorient themselves to their true north. Capturing the figure.

“Music for Mushrooms” will be shown at the Mary D. Fisher Theater and Alice Gilsheldon Theater from October 10th to 17th. Showtime is Thursday, October 10th at 7pm. Friday, October 11th, 4pm and 7pm.
