MLB Comes Up With Horrendous Idea For The Almighty Dollar, And Fans Aren’t Happy About It At All

I'm so tired…

The 2024 MLB Playoffs will feature a new look for batting helmets, which will also be introduced in the future.

The Wild Card Series between the Houston Astros and Detroit Tigers began on Tuesday, with Game 1 being played at the former's Minute Maid Park. But this game was special not only because it marked the beginning of the postseason, but also because Major League Baseball debuted Strauss-sponsored helmets. MLB announced September 2024 A partnership with Strauss, a workwear company based in Germany, will begin. The deal between the two brands will see the Strauss logo appear on players' helmets for the next four playoff games, and will appear season-long on minor league helmets starting in 2025. In return, Major League Baseball gets a fat check, of course.

When it comes to uniform sponsorship, the concept is not new in recent sports history. In fact, MLB already has patches on jersey sleeves. However, the league decided to do something new by putting the logo on batting helmets. It's pretty… large scale. (Didi is not there)

And fans aren't keen on it…at all.

Money is a great thing, but damn, it has a specialty that ruins everything — batting helmets now?!
