Navajo County, Arizona — Police dogs in Navajo County recently found half a million illegal drugs hidden inside a cereal box.
on tuesday, Navajo County Sheriff’s Office A lieutenant held a traffic stop on Interstate 40, and K-9 sniffed out five pounds of fentanyl hidden inside a box of lucky charms and cocoa puffs.
Three occupants of the vehicle were arrested and jailed on multiple drug charges, according to the NCSO. They have been identified as Braniel Dican Johnson, 38, Na Tasha Nicole Peoples, 39, and David Xavier Delgado, 29.
Johnson and Peoples are from the Phoenix area, and Delgado lives in New Mexico.
According to the NCSO, the amount of drugs found in the vehicle was estimated at over $520,000.
