WNBA announced On Thursday, Indiana Fever superstar Caitlin Clark officially won the league’s 2024 Rookie of the Year award.

Clark becomes the third forward in Indiana Fever franchise history to win Rookie of the Year. aliyah boston The other two tournaments were won by Tamika Catchings in 2023 and 2002, respectively. Back in September, Clark also won the Associated Press Newcomer of the Year award.
“I’m very honored to be named Rookie of the Year, but I would also like to thank my family, friends, teammates, Fever organization, and everyone who has supported me throughout this season. Thank you to everyone who gave.β I am very proud of what we have accomplished and very excited about what lies ahead,β Clark said.
The 2024 WNBA Draft No. 1 pick out of Iowa State had a truly historic rookie season, breaking several records on and off the court. She finished the 2024 season with 19.2 points per game, 8.4 rebounds per game, 5.7 rebounds per game, and 1.3 steals per game.
