The Sedona International Film Festival is proud to partner with Teatricos Theater Company to bring the film to downtown Flagstaff.

The series continues with the Flagstaff premiere of “The Critic” at Teatricos Theater Company on Wednesday, Oct. 9, at 7 p.m.

Academy Award nominee Sir Ian McKellen plays a powerful London theater critic who lures a struggling actress into a blackmail scheme with deadly consequences.

A suspense thriller starring Gemma Arterton, Mark Strong and Lesley Manville, The Critic is a thrilling tale of ambition, blackmail and desire, with a dazzling antihero at the heart of darkness. A criminal investigator is wrapped up in a Faustian pact that is becoming ever tighter.

“The Critic” will be performed at Teatricos Theater Company on Wednesday, October 9th at 7pm. Tickets are $12 for general admission, $9 for film festival members, and $10 for students.
