Police Receive Call Over Woman Trying To Cast Spells On People, Make Grisly Discovery Only Seen In Sickest Fairy Tales

A Kentucky woman was arrested Thursday after authorities discovered a dismembered body and what appeared to be cooked human remains inside a Robertson County home, the Kentucky State Police (KSP) reported.

Police arrested 32-year-old Trilena Mae Fields on Wednesday after receiving a tip from a man who had arrived at the property to perform work for the homeowner. According to To Fox19 Cincinnati. The man had seen Fields with the victim the day before and claimed the suspect was acting strange.

“On October 8, witnesses stated that Trilena was bewitching them and was confrontational,” KSP said in a citation, according to the newspaper.

When the witness returned the next day, no one answered the door. Police said they then noticed a drag trail leading to the back of the house, where they discovered a dismembered body with severed arms, legs and head. (Related article: Two women go to work. When officers entered the home, they discovered an even more horrifying scene. Inside, what appeared to be cooked human remains were found in a still-warm pot in the oven. Additionally, additional body parts and organs were found hidden inside a folded mattress next to the dismembered body, authorities added.

When police arrived, Fields was reportedly covered in blood and initially refused to leave the home, but was eventually taken into custody. She faces multiple charges including abuse of a corpse, tampering with evidence and obstructing government operations, according to a press release.

The victim’s identity has not yet been released. Fields is being held in the Bourbon County Detention Center and is scheduled to appear in court on Monday.
