Police Raid Hotel Where Liam Payne Died: REPORT

Argentine police reportedly raided the Casasul Palermo Hotel on Wednesday night as part of their investigation into the tragic death of Liam Payne.

Law enforcement authorities in Buenos Aires have reportedly examined electronic and paper hotel records in connection with the former One Direction star’s fall from a third-floor hotel balcony on October 16. . TMZ. Police reportedly took documents, film records and footage from underground sections of the facility, as well as information stored in folders and on hotel employees’ computers. Officials said they hope to identify the source who sold the drugs to Payne before his death.

According to TMZ, a law enforcement official said police are investigating a hotel employee suspected of being responsible for procuring drugs for the famous singer.

Insiders said police believe Payne was either semi-conscious or completely unconscious when she fell from the balcony. According to TMZ, investigators believe the position of the body when it was found in the lower courtyard suggests there was no attempt to protect itself as it plummeted to the ground.

Payne’s father, Jeff, traveled to Buenos Aires from the UK and is actively assisting the police investigation into his son’s death, TMZ reported.

Officials told ABC News that a toxicology report from the initial autopsy found that Payne had “pink cocaine” in her system at the time of her death. This substance is made up of a variety of drugs, including meth, ecstasy, and ketamine. Payne was just 31 years old at the time of his death. The investigation continues.
