Actor Jackson White said the production of Tell Me Rise included an entire week of sex scenes.
The actor, who plays Stephen DeMarco on Hulu’s hit drama, spoke candidly about his onset experience with his mother Katey Sagal and stepfather Kurt Sutter on the Oct. 22 episode of the podcast “Slice of Pie.” . He shared NSFW details and noted that the story would be “what the internet loves.”
White said that because the show only had one intimacy coordinator, the sex scenes were lumped together. The intimate scenes “will take about a week, so it’ll be like a sex week.”
The actor shared some nitty-gritty details about his style of thrusting in sex scenes and what it’s like to film that type of content for hours on end.
“There would be sex scenes all day long,” White said on the podcast. “So the intimacy coordinator was running around from set to set. Lucy and Leo were doing it, Bree and Oliver were doing it…and it was like sex day. ”
White joked about how he would avoid the awkwardness if he could. He said he was going to hang out in the trailer while some scenes were being filmed. The famous actor noted that his real-life girlfriend Grace Van Patten was also involved in the adult filming process.
