Kamala Harris’ running mate, Tim Walz, was allegedly in a passionate relationship with the daughter of a senior Chinese Communist Party (CCP) official, the Daily Mail reported on Monday.
While teaching in the Chinese city of Foshan in 1989, Waltz had a secret tryst with then-English teacher Jenna Wang. said Daily Mail.
According to the newspaper, the two did not show their affection in public because it could cause trouble for Wang’s father, Binhui, who is a senior Chinese Communist Party official and the head of the labor union in his hometown of Guilin. He claimed that he had not shown it.
“If my father had known, he would have been very, very angry and sad,” she told the outlet.
According to the newspaper, the two slept together and spent the night romantically dancing to George Michael’s song “Careless Whisper.”
She told the Daily Mail that the two had apparently been discussing marriage.
But things took a turn for the worse when Walz allegedly hinted to Wang that he was only marrying her for a U.S. passport.
“This was very unpleasant,” Wang told the outlet. “I wasn’t willing to give up my life and position to move to Nebraska, a remote and cold place that most Chinese people have never heard of.”
Wang said the way Walz treated her made her feel “like a prostitute” and claimed that she considered suicide as a result, the Daily Mail reported.
“I felt cheap and ordinary because I knew he had no intention of marrying me,” Wang told the outlet. (Related: “Timmy Got Issues”: Edgar the Puppet’s Rap Debut | Music Video Now Available)
Mr. Walz’s allegation of a secret affair is the latest chapter in a long and complicated China story for the Democratic Minnesota governor.
After taking his first educational trip to Foshan in August 1989, Walz began visiting China every summer with students from Nebraska and Minnesota, according to the Daily Mail.
According to an exclusive report by the Daily Caller News Foundation (DCNF), his cultural richness extended in both directions, including inviting Chinese Communist Party officials to his classroom in Nebraska in 1996.
He also appointed an official from a small Chinese political party “loyal” to the Chinese Communist Party to the Minnesota board in May 2020, according to the DCNF.
Waltz received a lot of criticism after that. looks like you’re lying About being in China during the deadly Tiananmen Square protests in 1989. Protests took place from April to June 1989. According to Britannica. Walz previously claimed on separate occasions that he was there in May and June 1989, but later recanted that statement and claimed he was a knucklehead. CheckYourFact reported that Walz likely did not travel to China until August of that year.
“Tim lied about Tiananmen Square, but he also lied about other things,” Wang told the Daily Mail.
“This is a very important moment in history, and it appears that a man like this does not have the character and integrity to carry out one of the most important jobs in the world,” Wang concluded.
