Love it or hate it, for better or worse, the Cowboys are attracting numbers.
If you’re frustrated that the Dallas Cowboys are always winning “game of the week” or prime-time contests, it might be your fault. Because their TV ratings are very high.
After suffering through ‘Sunday Night Football’ loss The Cowboys had a terrible season with 3 wins and 4 losses after losing to the San Francisco 49ers. In all four losses in 2024, Dallas has been trailed by one point in each game. minimum 3 score At some point during that time. Ah, but things get even worse. The Boys faced a deficit at some point in all seven contests this year as well. (Related: Bears’ Tyrik Stevenson completely embarrassed by Hail Mary scene that will be remembered for years)
But despite the poor performance, the Cowboys still had high viewership numbers, which is big money, money, money for advertisers!
And their latest example is the “SNF” matchup against the Niners, with NBC drawing about 24 million viewers to the game. This number is the highest viewership for Week 8 in the history of “Sunday Night Football.” And what’s even crazier is that this number is even higher than the viewership for Game 2 of the World Series, the same fall classic featuring two legendary brands and two iconic cities: the Los Angeles Dodgers and New York Yankees. This is an astonishing number of 10 million people.
