Olympic snowboarder Shaun White proposed to famous actress Nina Dobrev in New York City, and the lovebirds are making their way down the aisle.

On October 30, Dobrev shared a romantic snapshot on Instagram of the moment White popped the question. The two stood under an elaborate flower archway, kissing passionately.

She captioned her post: “Rest in peace my boyfriend. Hello fiancé.”

Dobrev spoke in an interview about the moment when she was completely taken by surprise. fashionpublished on October 30th.

The famous actress said White came up with an elaborate proposal plan that caught her completely off guard.

White worked with his publicist to concoct fake invitations to the CFDA and Vogue dinners with Anna Wintour.

“He made the invitation look very legitimate,” Nina told Vogue.

When she arrived, no one was there except White and the photographer.

“He said all the right things,” Dobrev recalled.

“I was shocked,” Dobrev told the magazine. “I just froze and stared at him,” she said.

White shared the big news on Instagram with a series of photos and the caption, “She said YES.”

Dobrev now proudly wears a giant 5-carat diamond ring on her finger, demonstrating the couple’s dedication to each other.

White, 38, and Dobrev, 35, began dating in 2019 and began living together at the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic.
