Famous actress Sidney Sweeney has accused women in Hollywood of pretending to uplift each other while undermining each other.
Sweeney said frankly: vanity fair In an interview published on November 13, she expressed her concerns about what is happening behind the scenes in Hollywood. She was asked to comment on a situation earlier this year in which a female producer insulted her appearance and skills as an actress.
The actress spoke about the tendency of some women to attack others when they are at their peak. “This whole industry is saying, ‘Women are empowering other women,’ and nothing is happening,” she said. “It’s all fake and a skin for all the other shit they’re saying behind their backs,” Sweeney told Vanity Fair.

The “Euphoria” star weighed in on the issue from her own experience.
“It’s very disappointing to see women push other women down, especially those who are successful in other areas of their industry, but also to see young talent working so hard to achieve whatever dreams they have. “Especially when you see them working and trying to bash and discredit any job they do,” she said.

“I mean, there’s a lot of research and a lot of different opinions on the reasons behind it,” Sweeney continued, delving into the issue at a deeper level.
“I’ve read that all our lives we’ve been raised to believe that only one woman can make it to the top. This is a generational issue.”
“There’s one woman who can get a man. There’s one woman who can be something. Then all the others are fighting each other instead of being like, “Let’s all lift each other up.” Or you feel like you have to drag that woman down,” Sweeney told Vanity Fair.

“I’m still trying to figure it out. I’m just trying my best here. Why am I being attacked?” she said.
