What on earth is going on in Jelly World?
The Dallas Cowboys’ plans for Monday night were to open the roof of AT&T Stadium to face the Houston Texans, but everything changed when a giant piece of metal fell from above and crashed onto the field. The Cowboys initially kept the roof open. 2 hours Before kickoff.
“You can see that the piece of metal came loose and fell into the field.” [with some additional small debris] The roof was in the process of opening,” the Cowboys said. “There were no injuries. Further reviews are underway to determine whether the roof can be safely reopened if possible.” (Related: Several ‘Trump Dance’ Celebrations Break Out Across the NFL, and Damn, I Love Living Here in America)
The team said high winds from the storm earlier in the day caused metal to fall on the field, forcing the Cowboys to cancel their plans and close the roof.
AT&T Stadium’s roof hasn’t been opened for Dallas contests the last two seasons.

For the first time in two years, the Dallas Cowboys opened the roof of AT&T Stadium before Monday Night Football.
A large piece of metal then fell into the field and the roof was closed again.

Fans say “the sky is falling” this season, and tonight it literally was. Part of the roof fell off when the retractable roof was opened. No injuries…just added insults these days. #Cowboys pic.twitter.com/0PlVxhboMT
