The Daily Caller first learned that the Public Safety Alliance of Nevada (PSAN) is backing Kash Patel to head the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
In a letter to the Senate Judiciary Committee on Tuesday, the group expressed its “strong and unwavering support” for Patel, citing his background in national security and law enforcement.
PSAN represents over 10,000 law enforcement officers. According to Visit the group’s Facebook page. “Kash Patel’s extensive experience in national security and law enforcement, and her commitment to upholding the rule of law make her an exemplary candidate for this important position,” the letter, obtained by The Caller, said. It is written.
Patel served as chief of staff to the Secretary of Defense during the first Trump administration. He was a fierce critic of Robert Mueller’s investigation into allegations of “Russian interference” during the 2016 election.
“His various positions, including Chief of Staff and Deputy Assistant to the President in the Department of Defense, have provided me with a deep understanding of the complexities and challenges facing our nation’s law enforcement agencies.” The letter continues.

PSAN is not the only law enforcement agency supporting Patel. The Federal Union of Police Officers (UFPO) endorsed him on Wednesday, citing his experience as a federal prosecutor.
“Kash Patel’s unwavering support for the rule of law and dedication to protecting the American people make him the ideal candidate to lead the FBI,” the letter said.

Patel also called for a “24/7 declassification office” and advocated for greater transparency.
