YUMA, AZ (KYMA, KECY) – Yuma native Kelvin Gastelum travels to Las Vegas to fight French UFC fighter Nassodin Imabov in a UFC middleweight bout.
UFC Fight Night 217 takes place on Saturday, January 14th at the UFC Apex facility in Enterprise, Nevada.
Previously, Imabov and Gastrum were scheduled to appear at UFC 273, but Imabov had to drop out due to visa issues.
Originally born and raised in San Jose, California, Gastelum has spent most of her life. Yuma’s childhood.

After climbing the MMA charts, Gastelum won the Ultimate Fighter Championship, defeating Uriah Hall. At 21, Gastelum became his youngest MMA fighter to win the Ultimate Fighter Championship and earn a UFC contract.
