sedona news – The Sedona International Film Festival is proud to present the Sedona premiere of “The Return,” which will be shown from December 27th to January 27th. The second time was at the Mary D. Fisher Theater.
After 20 years, Odysseus (Academy Award nominee Ralph Fiennes) washes up on the shores of Ithaca, haggard and unrecognizable. The king returned from the Trojan War, but much had changed in his kingdom.
His beloved wife Penelope (Academy Award winner Juliette Binoche) is a prisoner in her home, pursued by suitors vying for the throne. Their son Telemachus faced death at the hands of his suitors, who saw him as a mere obstacle in their pursuit of the kingdom.
Odysseus also changed. Scarred by his experiences in the Trojan War, he is no longer the mighty warrior he once was. He must rediscover his strength to regain everything he lost.
