In early December, a huge 14 points back This could potentially set a new Louisiana record for a typical whitetail. This deer was hunted in Catahoula Parish. Before a record can be set, officials must score the buck’s rack after a drying period. But honestly, there is no denying that this animal is an absolute beauty. Tyler Jordan, son of Realtree founder Bill Jordan and host of his own hunting TV show, said he killed the deer on Dec. 5. When Jordan cornered the deer, he was at Honey Brake Lodge, a famous and expensive clothing store. Located in the Louisiana Delta.
“I never thought my biggest whitetail would be killed in Louisiana,” Jordan wrote on Instagram. “But I am grateful for the opportunity and the pursuit we have had over the last three years to pursue this prize.”
Growing up in the South, I’ve spent almost my entire life surrounded by hunting and wildlife, so I’ve seen some beautiful deer along the way. But this would definitely be one of the most elite, I mean look at how perfect the rack is. Imagine how great it will look on your wall.
I killed a few bucks, but nothing much, and obviously nothing compared to this. You’ll be surprised how you feel after killing this guy!
