Sedona Heritage Museum Announces New Monthly Tours

sedona news – Sedona Heritage Museum will be offering a new tour program in the new year. Starting in January, on the second Wednesday of each month at 3:30 p.m., the museum will offer museum tours guided by Executive Director Nate Myers. The first tour will be held on January 8th.

This tour includes all of the buildings on the museum’s Jordan Historical Park campus, as well as a behind-the-scenes look at how the museum preserves artifacts and archival materials that are not on display.

Guests will learn everything it takes to create an exhibit, from idea to installation. In the photo, museum experts install the museum’s outdoor exhibits on water and irrigation.

“I’m excited about this new tour program,” Myers said. “We think tour guests will enjoy a deep dive into the history of our community and a behind-the-scenes look at the Sedona Heritage Museum.”
