Pamela Anderson’s eldest son, Brandon Thomas Lee, is polishing off his mother’s slutty reputation and rebranding her in a healthier way.
He has a difficult task. Ms. Anderson must have known that it was only a matter of time before her two sons felt the pain of her past terrible choices. Her own children are now trying to clean up the disgusting mess she has made in their lives. Apparently, it’s trying desperately to regain some sort of relevance.
For many, Anderson will always be the “Baywatch” beauty in the infamous sex tape. And no amount of PR will erase the image she has deliberately projected over the years.

Anderson’s status as a sex symbol was no accident. She leaned into it, profited from it, and made millions of people see it as her own. Her son is now trying to convince the world: they are They were the ones objectifying his mother. Lee now oversees the family business in an effort to highlight her scrappy mother’s talent, but it’s unclear whether she really has it. He thinks it will bring her some roles that will put her in a better light.
How the actor-turned-producer plans to reimagine his mother’s image, citing her recent success in Roadside Attractions as an example of her true potential. He told Variety magazine about it.
For this role, Anderson was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Drama or Motion Picture. Lee, who is an executive producer on the film, said the nomination was “the culmination of a very long journey and a lot of hard work, and marks the culmination of an incredible moment that is truly just the beginning for her.”
I don’t know if he remembers that his mother was a pin-up girl and a Playboy magazine cover model, but the rest of us do.

During an interview, Lee recalled that his mother always told him, “She always has to prove herself to people, and so do we all the time.”
I mean, it’s an understandable statement considering she’s the star of a sex tape and produced a highly publicized lewd act with her father, Tommy Lee.
I give the child credit, but he’s probably embarrassed to some extent by his mother’s harassing behavior. He’s trying, and that’s commendable to him, but you can’t erase the past — especially with so many new acting roles.
“When you really think about where we’ve come from over the last 10 years, it’s amazing,” Lee said of Anderson’s new acting role.
“What Pamela is doing now and the opportunities she has now are really amazing. It makes me know I’m doing the right thing,” he says. said Variety.

Consider for a moment the fact that he calls his mother “Pamela.” Is Lee too embarrassed to admit that “Pamela” is his mother?
This whole thing smells like a cover-up, and Lee is on a mission to cleanse our thoughts about women we don’t even call “mom,” but I don’t think he can change the narrative.
He is convinced that somehow he can control all this.

At one point in the interview, he mentioned his mother’s acting career and recent nominations, saying: In the category that she was in before, she was just very objectified, very male-oriented, and, you know, her whole career was geared towards the male gaze. ”
It’s great that he’s doing what he’s doing, but if he believes he has the entire world to blame for objectifying Anderson, I don’t think he sees the same thing as me. .
Anderson was very successful in making every shitty, slutty thing she did intentional. The world simply observed the show she put on. (Related: Heidi Klum shoots offensive lingerie ad with daughter, unable to handle backlash)
It’s great for Anderson to rebrand herself in a new way, but let’s not try to fabricate a story here and make her into a victim. The only victims so far seem to be her children, who are trying to deal with the reality of who their mother really is.
