High speed chase ends in collision, arrest east of Flagstaff

A chase with law enforcement ended in a icy crash near Stardust Trail in Donnie Park on Saturday afternoon.

Diego Enslow was taken into custody after a Coconino County Sheriff’s Deputy crashed into the driver’s side of his car and ended a chase in Donny Park.

Attempts were made to locate Enslow’s car, according to Coconino County Sheriff’s spokesperson John Paxton. According to reports, he was driving erratically and was driving on the wrong side of the road.

He was moving west at high speed east of Flagstaff when officers found him. For some time, the agent decided not to pursue the vehicle due to dangerous road conditions. When the vehicle was spotted again near Townsend-Winona Road, agents resumed the pursuit, eventually ramming the suspect’s vehicle, this time on the Stardust Trail.
