sedona news – The Sedona International Film Festival is proud to present the Northern Arizona premiere of “All We Imagine as Light” at the Alice Gill Sheldon Theater from January 10th to 16th.

All We Imagine as Light was nominated for two Golden Globe Awards, including Best Film (Non-English) and Best Director for Payal Kapadia.

The lights, lives and textures of modern working-class Mumbai are explored and celebrated by writer-director Payal Kapadia, who won the grand prize at this year’s Cannes Film Festival for her revelatory feature debut.

Kapadia’s film revolves around two roommates, head nurse Prabha and recently hired Anu, and their co-worker Parvati, who work together at a city hospital and explore connections, heartache, hope and It focuses on moments of disappointment.

Her arranged marriage husband Prabha, who lives far away in Germany, is courted by a doctor at a hospital.
