James Woods Smacks Down ‘Blithering Idiot’ Gavin Newsom For Dropping Ball On Forest Management

With wildfires raging in Los Angeles and California’s emergency response at a standstill, actor James Woods appeared on Fox News on Wednesday to criticize the government’s response to the crisis.

Monaka exterior On “The Ingraham Angle,” Woods criticized the government’s response in the city, where residents found fire hydrants running dry and homes on fire. The actor also criticized Democratic California Governor Gavin Newsom’s handling of the situation. Woods called Newsom a “big idiot” and accused the governor of repeated mismanagement of California’s fire prevention and response.

Woods also turned his attention to Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass.

“As the person in charge, she took over and put it in her bio that her priorities, my top priorities are inclusion, diversity, equity. I thought I forgot to fill all the reservoirs. Because when I sounded the fire alarm, there was a fire truck parked in front of my house, but there was no fire truck, so I couldn’t pump water into the reservoir. Don’t come in,” Woods said.

The actor drew parallels between the current fire crisis and the recent spike in crime within his community. Woods said both are down to a lack of competent leadership. (Related: Biden drops some juicy personal news as deadly wildfires rage in the streets)

“It’s like all the crimes that happened in our neighborhood, in Los Angeles. When those stupid Gascon were there, they just didn’t care,” Woods told Laura Ingraham. “Everyone was running free. Those were shocking places. You couldn’t walk down the street, you know?

Woods also said the Newsom administration has stumbled in meeting its basic responsibilities to California during the wildfires.

“If it’s true that things were handled this way, Gavin Newsom is an absolute idiot who I believe has managed fires this way over and over and over again in this state. “If that’s true, then this is not a wake-up call,” Woods said. “This is the kind of thing where they have a tribunal where they put people on trial and say you had an oath to perform a certain job. When you’re a fire chief, this means you It’s not a social justice practice in charge.”

Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) officials faced intense scrutiny after many fire hydrants failed during a major fire outbreak. As firefighters battled a widespread blaze that destroyed numerous buildings, they discovered numerous fire hydrants under LADWP’s control had run dry.
