On the one hand, I see these people as idiots. On the other hand, I understand the hype around Pokemon.
A wild video shows people fighting at Costco to get their hands on a piece of the new Pokemon card collection, with one man apparently elbowing himself in the face while discarding it along with other customers. Looks like he got hit. A company representative said employees tried to defuse the situation and restore normalcy, but shoppers did not respond. The incident took place in Atwater Village, Los Angeles.
A Costco representative working at the store said: TMZ Employees responded to consumers competing for profits (more on this in a moment). Fortunately, no one was seriously injured. Police have not been contacted, no one has been arrested, and Costco is handling everything internally.

This is outrageous. Costco should have done a better job of keeping it at the register. After the employee pays, hand over the inventory to that person.

The Pokemon card in question is the 151 Blooming Waters Premium Collection, which sells for between $120 and $150 online. Costco sells it for less than $60, which means you can resell it for a huge profit.
As a hustler myself, I understand that, but do we really have to pretend to be that ignorant in the process? Most of my childhood?!
