When it comes to bald eagles, this majestic bird is a big part of American culture, symbolizing its status as a corporate giant, whether it’s economic or military. That being said, the man who saved this bird was not an American, but one of Canada’s neighbors in northern Canada. (Related: Giant buck caught on camera, and oh well, this would be great on a wall)

The video, which has gone viral on social media, shows a man reaching into the water to rescue a trapped bald eagle. This is a truly amazing video, and as the eagle begins to recover as the clip progresses, you can’t help but do a little fist pump out of pure American pride.

And to regain its glory (Trump took us to the golden age), the situation where the bald eagle is stuck in the water (Biden’s presidency) is something we have to work on. While it is very symbolic. And speaking of that golden age, I hope to God that the president can accomplish this.
