According to a new vote from a conservative public relations firm, Georgia Republican Gov. Brian Kemp is leading Democrat Sen. John Ossoff in a real matchup in the 2026 Senate race.
In a poll conducted by Tyson Group for P2 Pathway Public Affairs and shared solely with the Daily Caller News Foundation, Ossoff leads several other potential GOP candidates outside the poll’s four-point margin. I discovered that. Georgia’s 2026 Senate race is one of Senate Republicans’ best pick-up opportunities to expand the majority of 53-47 seats in the upcoming midterm, and KEMP has re-elected Ossoff’s bid for many of the GOP It is seen as a slam dunk candidate to ruin it. In the hypothetical matchup, Kemp bested Ossov from 49% to 42%, with 8% of voters still undecided. According to polls, the popular two-term governor also has a net favorable advantage of Democrats of 14 points.
The voting survey sampled 600 general election voters in Georgia, and was conducted between January 30th and January 31st.

Ossoff leads Carter from 47% to 39%, with 13% of general election voters still undecided, while Greene is 51% to 39%, with 9% undecided.
Kemp, who currently chairs the Republican Governors Association, has not said whether he plans to challenge Ossov for his Senate seat. The campaign division of the Senate GOP, a national Republican Senate committee, appears to be actively lobbying Kemp and jumping into the race.
“We are looking for a way to recruit our number one senator,” said Republican South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott, NRSC Chairman of the 2026 Cycle. I said Sema of Kemp on January 27th. “He’ll be the best candidate in Georgia we’ve had for a very long time.”
Kemp defeated Democratic governor’s candidate Stacey Abrams in particular in the 2018 and 2022 Georgia governor races. Abrams has yet to admit the losses from the 2018 election.
Kemp was also one of the first governors to reopen his state for business during the Covid-19 lockdown.
Georgia voters also seem to have overwhelmingly rejected the Biden administration, which pushes leftist gender ideology against Americans.

The Senate is expected to vote for a law hosted by Republican Alabama Senators, and Tommy Tuberville prohibits transgender athletes from participating in women’s sports. Ossov has not taken the bill’s position so far; Protection of women and girls in sports law.
According to the vote, President Donald Trump has a net support rating of 4% among Georgia general election voters.

Ossov voted for the Laiken Riley Act, a bill aimed at cracking down on illegal immigrants, but he, along with his Democratic colleagues, was an international criminal court official who tried to arrest Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. It blocked the law that granted it. Ossov too cast Two proceeding tickets in December last year would have restricted certain weapon sales to Israel.
Other Republican candidates could jump into the race if Kemp passes the Senate run.
Republican Georgia Rep. Mike Collins I said Saturday’s hill means he supports the “Drafting Kemp Movement” as the governor of Georgia reflects on the Senate run.
“Our governor can win that seat,” Collins told Hill. “But if he takes the pass, I’ll talk to President Trump and see who he needs to support us to make sure he’s going to vote another in the Senate. .”
KEMP led by 46% to 40% in virtual matches, according to a club’s growth poll conducted in mid-January, shared with DCNF.
