Each year, the city assesses which projects will be included in the future annual budget by weighing out needs, funds and other competing priorities.

The study seeks community input on potential projects that will impact large budgets.

The survey asks about five topics:

  • Additional roles for Sedona Police Station
  • Development of neighbourhood street connections in the form of very wide shared use paths only used by bicycles and pedestrians, except in emergencies that can be used by cars.
  • Development of alternative routes on Oak Creek
  • Land acquisition and stream walking development
  • Land acquisition for labor housing development

The city will receive input received from this survey and use it during the budget preparation process to enable city councils, citizen budget workgroups, mayors and staff to make more informed decisions.

The results of the survey will be posted www.sedonaaz.gov/budgetsurvey Early March.
