Northern Arizona has won back-to-back Mesa CC in doubleheader fashion last Saturday. Now’s Darina Shosina and Andrea Nogra Both remain undefeated throughout singleplayer this season, with Shocina playing 5-0, primarily in second and first place positions. Noguera also sits on a 5-0 record, earning two wins on No. 3, first and fifth on No. 4.
In doublesplay, Shocina and partner Jantakova lead the team with a 3-1 record. The team is 9-4 from doubles matches and 23-7 through singles matches.
Wyoming entered the meeting with a 1-7 record on Friday, leading to a 5-2 defeat to Iowa State on February 8th. The Cowgirls’ only victory of the season took on January 31st against Metropolitan State in Denver in the 7-0 final. .
In a match against the Cyclone, Elena Trencheva and Dilnaz Mashabaeva They won their singles matches on No. 5 and No. 6 respectively. Trencheva won 2-6, 6-4, 1-0 (10-6), but Mashabaeva gathered from the set to win 4-6, 6-4, 1-0 (10-5). . This dual season gives Trencheva a team high 3 singles victory.
