‘Nothing’s Off The Table’: Pete Hegseth Delivers Warning to Cartels From GTMO

Defense Secretary Pete Hegses sent a direct message to the drug cartel from Guantanamo Bay on Wednesday evening when he appeared on Fox News.

As part of President Donald Trump’s plan to fulfill his promise to expel a mass expulsion campaign, the president ordered the administration in January to use Guantanamo Bay Navy Base as a facility to hold illegal immigrants. With the closure of the US southern border and the arrest of “criminal foreigners,” including rapists and murderers, Trump has also designated Mexico’s leading drug cartel as a foreign terrorist organization in some of his first executive orders.

In “Ingraham’s Angle,” Fox host Laura Ingraham asked Hegses if he had a message for the cartel. Report Trump’s border closure is disrupting operations in the US (Related: The infamous immigration route to us suddenly shows signs of life, just as immigrants return home with Trump’s return)

“My message was from the beginning. We haven’t taken anything off the table. There’s nothing. We’ll do whatever it takes to secure our hometown, maintain our sovereignty and protect the American people,” Heggs said.

Before speaking to Hegses, Ingraham showed how illegal immigrants will be treated at the base when newcomers’ flights arrive. The migrants were seen being escorted from the plane by officials, bound and directed towards buses that were taken to the disposal area.

“Does that mean that the fentanyl lab is eliminating potential strikes within Mexico?” Ingraham asked. “We know they exist. We know where they exist.”

“No, I don’t think I’ve ruled out anything. Everything is on the table. The commander will ultimately make those decisions along with my consultations and consultations with the Speaker and others. But there’s nothing from the table. Our sovereignty will be defended,” Hegses said.

Border Emperor Tom Homan and Christa Noem of Homeland Security have led US immigration and customs enforcement raids across the country. However, since the border closure, residents of the sanctuary city have tried to oppose the attack.

In early February, both Homan and Noem suggested there was a leak within the FBI after internal information was released about the two separate attacks. Following a public warning about a potential internal leak, NOEM announced on Monday that DHS had caught some of the “leak people.” However, she has not yet specified how many people were captured or which institutions she belongs to.
